The Position

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Swimming Instructor to join our team. As a Swimming Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching effective swimming and water safety techniques to students of all ages and skill levels.

About the Role

This is a key role within our swim program, and as a Swimming Instructor, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality swimming lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons that meet the needs of students with diverse ages, abilities, cultures, and learning styles.
  • Assess student progress and provide ongoing feedback and support to ensure students achieve their swimming goals.
  • Collaborate with other swim instructors and program staff to ensure a cohesive and effective swim program.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and lesson plans.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Certificate in Swimming Instruction or a related field.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Working With Children Check (or equivalent) and National Police Check.
  • Current SWIM Certificate – Teaching of Swimming and Water Safety.
  • Previous experience in a comparable role is highly regarded.
