We are seeking a highly skilled Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to our research effort at UNSW.

\Job Description\

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing expertise in mining equipment development and safety technologies through defined projects.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Contribute independently or as a team member in collaborative research enhancing quality of research outcomes in mining equipment development and safety technologies.
  • Conduct research, creating scholarly output recognised by peers.
  • Undertake specific research project/s under the guidance of a research leader, contributing to research activities.
  • Support dissemination of research outcomes through appropriate channels.
  • Participate in conferences and workshops relevant to the project as required.
\Required Skills and Qualifications:\
  • A PhD in Mining/Safety/Mechanical Engineering or related areas.
  • Commitment to keeping up-to-date with discipline knowledge and developments.
  • Capability in mining equipment/product design, development, and testing.
  • Track record of publications and conference presentations relative to opportunity.
  • Ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines, and build effective relationships.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills.
