The Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Academic Support Professional to join our team at St Joseph's Parish School in Weipa.

As a key member of our school community, you will assist teachers and other staff members in providing appropriate student learning support in the classroom. Your primary focus will be on working hand-in-hand with teaching staff to deliver a high-quality faith-based education for primary students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualised learning support to students as required.
  • Assist teachers with preparing lessons and materials.
  • Monitor student progress and report back to teachers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to support students with diverse needs.

Requirements

  • A Working with Children Blue Card.
  • A commitment to the ethos of Catholic Education.

  • Competitive salary range: $31.56 - $32.23 per hour (pro rata).
