Community Inclusion Specialist

As a Community Inclusion Specialist, you will play a vital role in fostering positive relationships and connections between individuals, promoting social participation, and enhancing overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of Support Workers to achieve their best
  • Ensure smooth operations and efficient processes
  • Provide guidance and support, addressing any challenges that arise
  • Collaborate with various internal stakeholders to meet customer needs
  • Create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all employees feel valued

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in disability services
  • Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience
  • Strong computer, finance, and compliance skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Passionate about human rights and positive change
  • Empathetic and understanding of diverse experiences
  • Strong interpersonal skills; adept at working with customers and carers
  • Qualified and Ready: A First Aid/CPR Certificate, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
  • You have a valid driver's license and an insured car to support people on their adventures
