We are seeking a dedicated Field Guide to join our conservation team in the serene Wolgan Valley area, regional NSW.

As a Field Guide, you will provide personalized tours and field activities for our guests. You will participate in routine ecological and conservation work and serve as the primary link between guests and field operations. Your role will involve delivering information on ecology, history, and cultural heritage of the property; arranging daily activities in line with Wolgan Valley services and functionality. At times, you will perform property conservation and land care works.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have:

  • Knowledge of Australian flora and fauna, natural history, history, and Aboriginal culture.
  • Environmental or outdoor education experience relevant to children and young adults.
  • Professional guiding experience.
  • Equestrian or animal care experience would be an advantage.
  • Hospitality, tourism, or events qualifications would be beneficial.
  • Exceptional communication skills and customer service experience.
  • Fluency in English (both written and verbal) is essential.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational skills, and people skills with the ability to work well in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively without compromising standards, productivity, or quality.
  • A can-do attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to live in the local area or on-site.
  • Valid New South Wales RSA.
  • Manual driving license and 4WD experience.
