Job Title: Scientific Research AssociateAbout the Position:

This is a 2-year fixed-term opportunity to collaborate with our team at the School of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences.

  • Contribute to the preparation of cell culture for human cell lines and tissues.
  • Prepare samples for DNA and RNA sequencing analysis.
  • Establish and run reporter assays using viral vectors.
  • Assist in transducing target cells.
  • Support the production of technical reports and maintain research logbooks.
  • Attend laboratory meetings and other research forums as necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A university degree in cellular and molecular biology or a related discipline, or equivalent knowledge gained through education, training, or experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting and contributing to projects and initiatives.
  • Proficiency in computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and statistical analysis software.
