Claims Management Opportunity

Eager to take on a new challenge in claims management? We are seeking experienced professionals from New Zealand to join our growing organisation.

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for setting the standard in claims management, guiding and supporting others through mentoring and coaching, and leading by example to create a culture of collaboration.

  • Pro-actively manage a portfolio of workers compensation claims to achieve the optimum outcome of early and sustainable return to work with reasonable claim costs
  • Collaborate with medical professionals, employers, brokers, rehab providers and other stakeholders to create an effective Return to Work strategy
  • Assist the worker and employer with the claim process, providing support, managing expectations and ensuring timely access to required services to support return to work and injury recovery
  • Assess aspects of liability and recovery relevant to the legislation or policies while undertaking ongoing reviews in relation to entitlements and payments
  • Respond to escalations and provide coaching and mentoring to other members of the team
About You
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing claims within the New Zealand Accident Compensation Scheme is mandatory
  • You must currently reside in New Zealand to be eligible for relocation
  • An empathetic, resilient and motivational approach to customer centric support is essential
  • A driven professional with highly developed written and verbal communication skills is necessary
  • Careful consideration to detail with a high concern for accuracy to manage stakeholder engagement is crucial
  • A team player who likes to work collaboratively and can also work independently
