About the Role

Padua College seeks a Learning Leader to connect high-quality teaching to student engagement, successful learning, and positive student outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator to lead curriculum and program development, innovation in learning design, and teacher performance.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead curriculum and program development, ensuring alignment with the VCAA Curriculum, Padua's Learning and Teaching Framework, and Instructional Model.
  • Oversee course provision, embedding the Learning Principles of Padua's Learning and Teaching Framework and Instructional Model within the Learning Area.
  • Provide formative environment for improved teacher performance, consistent with the AITSL Standards, Padua's Learning and Teaching Framework, and Instructional Model.
  • Administer the Learning Area effectively and perform other duties as requested by the Principal or College Improvement Team.

Support for Teachers

Tenured teachers will be supported by the Learning Leaders, Assistant Heads of Campus, Deputy Principals/Directors of Campus, and Vice Principal (Learning and Teaching) across the College in developing, implementing, and teaching the curriculum. Additionally, they will receive support from House Coordinators, Assistant Heads of Campus (Student Wellbeing and Growth), Deputy Principals/Directors of Campus, and Vice Principal – Students in pastoral care and discipline, as well as class management.
