About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team at The BUSY School. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and safe learning environment for students who are disengaged or at risk of disengaging from education.

The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching English and Social Community Studies to Year 11 and 12 students, with the ability to create engaging lesson plans and deliver high-quality instruction. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum programs that cater to the needs of our diverse student population.

Responsibilities
  • Create and deliver lesson plans that meet the needs of students with varying abilities and learning styles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
