We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our Fixed Income team as Assistant Vice President. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a core business unit within a demanding environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fixed income/cash portfolio management, with at least 5-10 years of relevant experience. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics or Finance from a recognized university is required. The successful candidate will also possess excellent analytical skills, strong communication abilities and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities of this role include maintaining a deep understanding of global fixed income/money markets and market structure. As a dual role, you will manage and trade multi-billion AUD/NZD portfolios from both an Indexed Fixed Income & Money Market portfolio perspective based in Sydney. You will ensure effective management of client portfolios in line with their respective investment objectives, guidelines and restrictions.

This position also involves ensuring that the Fixed Income & Cash strategy funds operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and procedures followed. Regular communication and clear investment philosophy, process and performance internally and externally is expected. Additionally, you will assist management with defining strategy and market opportunities, maintaining client relationships, business development and marketing.

You will be enthusiastic and able to collaborate with other members of the Cash and FI team to prepare and analyze client driven bond flows and monthly rebalancing while also having the ability to implement trades with broker/dealer panel. You must be committed to investment excellence with strong diligence and a collaborative attitude. Ability to embrace multiple internal systems to facilitate both daily management of cash and bond funds is essential.
