Arcare Aged Care is seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join our team at our Warners Bay residence. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in helping maintain the functional independence of our clients through the delivery of evidence-based, active interventions.
About the Role
The Physiotherapist will be responsible for ensuring optimal levels of function and independence for all clients by:
- Performing functional assessments on admission with periodic reviews
- Developing tailored treatment plans
- Delivering therapy services in both 1:1 and group settings
- Attending to referrals and post-fall reviews
- Manual handling training
- Documenting treatment planning and interventions
- Leading and supervising Allied Health Assistants
- Contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or higher
- Right to Work in Australia
