We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Heavy Industrial Solutions in Adelaide.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a diverse fleet of Kenworth and Mercedes prime movers, as well as Isuzu and Hino rigids. With a strong focus on preventative maintenance and repair, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our vehicles.

About the Role
  • Your primary responsibility will be to carry out servicing and maintenance tasks on our trucks, including steering and suspension repairs, electrical fault diagnosis and repair, braking system diagnosis and repair, component overhauls, driveline repairs, and preventative maintenance services.
  • You will also be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults in various systems, including electrical and mechanical components.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, with day shifts and afternoon shifts available. Optional Saturday shifts may be required from time to time. We offer a competitive salary package, including superannuation on all hours worked, meal allowance, and excellent work-life balance.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • A trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics is essential for this role.
  • You should possess a solid understanding of heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance, including technical knowledge of all aspects of heavy vehicle repairs.
  • A valid Heavy Vehicle License would be highly regarded, but is not mandatory.
  • You must be reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A high level of attention to detail is required for this role.

Compensation Package

Our compensation package includes a salary of $45-$55 per hour, experience-dependent. You will also receive superannuation on all hours worked, a meal allowance, and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
