Job Title: Financial Support Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Finance Officer to join our thriving Melbourne team. As a key member of our finance function, you will be responsible for supporting the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and receivable, financial record-keeping, and company secretarial duties.
Key Responsibilities- Manage end-to-end accounts payable, including invoice processing and payment preparation
- Prepare sales invoices & complete accounts receivable duties including: monitoring and following up on outstanding balances where required.
- Record corporate credit card & employee expense claims
- Monitor and reconcile bank accounts daily as directed
- Maintain financial records for SPV's & preparation of SPV BAS returns
- Assist with month end reporting and all associated tasks
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent in a relevant field
- 3+ years' experience in a similar role
- Advanced Excel skills
- Communicate effectively and professionally (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Ability to plan effectively and take accountability for delivering results
