Project Manager Airfield Upgrades

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of airfield upgrades on a remote island project. This is a rare opportunity to showcase your skills in managing complex infrastructure projects.

The Role:

  • Oversee the full delivery of the airfield works package, including planning, subcontractor engagement, and completion.
  • Coordinate resources, drive safety and quality outcomes, and ensure commercial targets are met.

About You:

  • You are an experienced project leader with a strong background in civil construction and a proven ability to manage complex works from start to finish.
  • You are confident working in remote or challenging environments and understand the importance of planning safety and quality at every stage.
  • You have a sound knowledge of contracts and commercial management and are comfortable building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and your team.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience managing complex civil or infrastructure projects from planning through to handover.
  • A strong understanding of safety, quality, and commercial requirements on large-scale works.
  • The ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams.
  • Skillful in stakeholder engagement and subcontractor management.
  • Solid knowledge of contracts, specifications, and industry standards.
