Job Title: Front Office Receptionist Summer Position

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Receptionist to join our team for a temporary casual contract of 4 months. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences from arrival to departure.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in front desk services in a similar type of hotel or industry, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deliver memorable guest service experiences. You will also possess professional telephone mannerisms and a friendly and welcoming attitude.

In addition, you will have basic proficiency in computer systems, Microsoft Office, databases, and business systems relevant to the role. If you have availability over a 7-day roster including occasional weekends and afternoon shifts, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet and greet all guests at the front desk
  • Process check-ins and check-outs, assign rooms and process payments
  • Answer guest queries and make suggestions for the local area
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
