Job Description\

As a leader in youth support services, we seek an experienced Program Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred support to young people leaving detention.

\

This role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on the lives of vulnerable individuals and their families. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding their team, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.

\Key Responsibilities:\
  • Lead and motivate program teams to deliver safe, effective outreach services that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Manage program operations in line with organisational policies and compliance standards.
  • Promote and implement organisational practice initiatives, embedding best practices across programs.
  • Foster a culture of client voice and participation in service delivery and program design.
  • Ensure young people are supported to reconnect with family and/or carers, education and community networks.
  • Oversee risks, staff concerns, and client complaints with professionalism and care.
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders, including government agencies and community organisations.
  • Provide advice to senior leadership on program performance, risks, and opportunities.
\Required Skills and Qualifications:\
  • Proven experience in program management, with a focus on youth support services.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage risks and ensure compliance.
  • Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field.
