Program Coordinator Job Summary:
Our organization seeks a skilled and experienced Program Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our youth justice programs, ensuring that they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislative provisions, statutory delegations, departmental policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise operational staff to deliver high-quality service
- Maintain knowledge of contemporary trends, practices, funding initiatives and service delivery options
- Liaise with key stakeholders to promote effective coordination, integration and delivery of high-quality programs and activities
- Participate in strategic and operational planning, reviews, and decision-making
- Establish recording and reporting systems to ensure efficient and accountable management
- Provide recruitment, selection, professional development, culturally appropriate supervision and leadership to program staff
- Ensure regular audits of Workplace Health and Safety issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience in program coordination or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledge of youth justice principles and practices
