Risk Management Expert
Join our team at a leading maritime and defence organisation with exciting opportunities to grow your career. We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager to join our Design Support Contractor (DSC) contract, responsible for identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks across the organisation.
The role is responsible for:
- Leading risk management operations and activities under the DSC contract
- Managing and updating the risk management tools for the company
- Working closely with business units to ensure consistent adoption of risk management policies and frameworks
- Performing risk assessments and audits, identifying and analysing risks affecting the Program and Enterprise
- Leading risk review activities and updating the tools to ensure the registers are current and accurate
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in business or project management field
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working in Risk Management in a project or program environment
- Experience working in either a Defence, marine or construction environment is highly desirable
- Ability to understand complex technical problems in an engineering environment
