Job Title: Chargeback Specialist

**Role Overview:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Chargeback Specialist to provide BAU operational support, complete tasks related to new merchant onboarding, prepare invoices, and maintain dispute records.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing BAU operational support and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations
  • Completing tasks related to new merchant onboarding and streamlining the onboarding process
  • Preparing invoices and supporting reports in an efficient manner
  • Maintaining accurate dispute records on the Wpay dispute management platform
  • Investigating disputes/chargeback cases, gathering evidence where required, and escalating issues when necessary
  • Daily reconciliation of chargeback cases to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Providing support and cover to the Scheme Settlement team as needed

**Requirements:**

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role or fresh graduate looking for an entry-level role in payments with a strong understanding of industry principles
  • Experience using Excel/spreadsheet skills, with a strong understanding of pivot tables and VLOOKUP
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work with ambiguity and repetitive tasks while maintaining productivity
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • A basic understanding of card payment transaction processing would be beneficial
