Lead Data Analyst

The role requires a seasoned professional to identify and analyze existing stakeholders, conduct vendor and market research, and assist with change management efforts.

Australian Citizenship and a minimum of baseline Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) clearance is required. The contract duration is 6-18 months, working 5 days a week on-site in Canberra.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed information gathering and analysis of contract usage, international market insights, and vendor analysis.
  • Gather, analyze, and synthesize market and vendor intelligence to inform positioning, strategies, and opportunities.
  • Analyze Microsoft holdings, including usage trends, current and future demand by product/service/category/licensing construct.
  • Evaluate Microsoft's strategic roadmap and its alignment with organizational goals.
  • Identify high-level opportunities for optimization across the Microsoft licensing portfolio in preparation for renewal.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in the Microsoft industry and international customer relations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, synthesize, and interpret complex data.
  • Proficiency in evaluating strategic roadmaps and aligning them with organizational goals.
  • Expertise in market and vendor intelligence, including competitor analysis.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey findings and recommendations effectively.
  • Experience in change management and supporting organizational transitions.
