Optimize data center performance as a Critical Facilities Engineer. Key responsibilities include site administration, incident management and capacity planning.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform daily checks and site inspections to maintain facility infrastructure. Coordinate preventative maintenance tasks and vendors.
  • Lead complex maintenance activities including electrical and mechanical systems. Collaborate with team members on major repairs and develop procedures for their execution.
  • Coordinate critical switching activities while maintaining workplace safety practices.
  • Ensure incidents are escalated according to protocols. Provide support to other teams as needed.
Key Responsibilities Continued:
  • Manage access control and security measures. Activate the fire protection system and take necessary actions.
  • Maintain and coordinate site records to meet compliance requirements. Attend vendor meetings to discuss services and address issues.
Requirements:
  • Electrical or engineering degree with experience in data centers.
  • Team-oriented approach with willingness to learn and develop on the job.
  • Engineering mindset and strong troubleshooting experience related to UPS, STS, LV, HV systems.
  • Sound knowledge of generators, chillers and mechanical systems would be beneficial.
  • Experience with high-voltage switching in live environments.
