Corporate Agribusiness Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Agribusiness Strategist to join our Specialised Agribusiness Solutions (SAS) team, based in Sydney. As part of this role, you will work closely with high-value corporate agribusiness clients across Australia.

About the Role

This is a key opportunity for an Agribusiness Banker to develop client relationships and strategies to successfully lead and grow a portfolio of clients. You will be responsible for managing these relationships, identifying opportunities and developing solutions to support them.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Developing appropriate client relationships and strategies to lead and grow a high-value portfolio of clients;
  • Building a deep understanding of your clients' businesses and needs, including credit submissions, annual reviews, and credit correspondence;
  • Undertaking analysis of client and industry information to develop solution-based initiatives;
  • Providing first-class support and account management to your clients;
  • Working closely with Analysts to provide necessary information for writing good-quality credit submissions.

Key Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • The ability to build strong relationships with clients to help grow our client base;
  • Demonstrated success in managing a portfolio of high-value corporate/institutional-grade clients, particularly within corporate agribusiness sectors;
  • A strong business banking background and commercial acumen to drive client acquisitions;
  • The skills to use financial analysis and enthusiasm to provide fresh perspectives to our clients;
  • An ability to combine experience and expertise with our innovative technologies to deliver insights and find new solutions to old problems.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $120,000-$150,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you will have access to a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities and a supportive work environment.
