Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of current project management methodology, including complex systems, compliance, legislation, and risk management. They will also have demonstrated experience in delivering significant projects from inception through to completion, and leading teams of project managers and assistant project managers.

In this role, you will be responsible for performing various project management activities, including programme management, cost management, quality and risk management, and supervision of direct reports. You will also be required to prepare and maintain reporting, and coordinate project/client meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Manage project risks, issues, and quality
  • Supervise and mentor project team members
  • Prepare and present project reports and progress updates

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Project Management, Urban and Regional Planning, Architecture, Engineering, or Property Development (or similar)
  • Minimum 6-8 years practical experience as a project manager client-side delivering projects within the property and construction industry (or similar)
  • Strong software competency in MS suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project)
  • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
