As a seasoned revenue professional, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Revenue Manager with strategic budgeting initiatives, robust reporting capabilities, and astute debt management.

About the Role

  • You will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop policy through revenue costing processes, ensuring timely and accurate budget submissions.
  • Update and enhance analytical tools, templates, and models to streamline workflows and minimize errors.
  • Built strong relationships with central agencies and internal stakeholders, including negotiating and achieving outcomes with senior-level officers.
  • Review Estimate Memorandum and provide expert advice on implications.
  • Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers, speeches, and correspondence for review by executive-level employees.
  • Work independently with broad direction, resolving complex issues while delivering quality outcomes.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of relevant legislation supporting financial elements related to revenue activities.
  • Evaluate and manage competing priorities effectively.

Requirements

  • Budgeting and forecasting experience, including statistical or econometric modelling.
  • Revenue and management accounting expertise using SAP.
  • Understanding of PBS and CBMS systems.
  • Analyzing and reporting on revenue performance.
  • NPP costing and budget process knowledge is essential.
  • Accounting, finance, economics, or statistics qualification or relevant experience.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Teradata, and R is highly desirable.
  • Australian citizenship and baseline security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain.
