
Customer Service Representative

Switchboard Operators serve as the primary point of contact for guests and are accountable for handling calls efficiently and accurately.
Maintaining all information about various departments, recording after-hours details, and assisting with emergency procedures are essential aspects of this role.
Main Responsibilities- Complete daily task sheets for each shift.
- Ensure accurate recording and transmission of information to colleagues through whiteboards, diaries, and email.
- Process guest telephone messages, emails, outgoing mail, and faxes promptly and carefully.
- Send concise and accurate information to staff via paging systems.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a prompt and courteous manner, achieving maximum guest satisfaction at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of on-call staff and report after-hours problems to the correct personnel promptly.
- Assist the Duty Manager in night audit duties and complete night audit after training.
You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with clear and articulate language. Flexibility in terms of shifts and rosters is crucial.
Requirements- A minimum of 3-6 months' experience in a similar role.
- Hospitality experience is necessary.
- Prior experience managing a busy switchboard is advantageous.
- Familiarity with front office systems and procedures is also beneficial.
