Creative Content Specialist

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Creative Content Specialist. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to develop and implement internal and external strategic communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to support our program.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in content creation, including writing, editing, and proofing corporate materials for a range of audiences and communication channels. They will also have excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage their own work, assist other team members, and support concurrent projects and activities.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate proven analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities and risks, recommend creative solutions to complex problems or sensitive issues, and develop compelling stories that align with our policy, promote behaviour change, and meet communications objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement internal and external strategic communication and stakeholder engagement strategies to support the program.
  • Produce and deliver a diverse range of high-quality communication to customers - consistent with whole of government and our organisation's communication policies and standards.
  • Write, edit, and proof external customer-based written communication, in consultation with various stakeholders including business experts and specialists.
  • Provide specialist communication advice and services across the program.
  • Delveve training, advice, and assistance to staff in relation to communicating with customers and complying with our External Communications Guidelines.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A tertiary qualification in Communications, Journalism, Content Writing or a related field.
  • Previous experience within the government sector will be highly regarded.
