Electrical Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician to join our team in Sydney. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance inspections, repairs, and modifications on electrical equipment throughout the CBD.

GDP Group is a national company with 25 years of experience providing facilities management solutions to prominent buildings in and around the CBD. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality services that meet the needs of our clients.

  • Perform routine maintenance inspections, repairs, and modifications on electrical equipment
  • Install and upgrade electrical equipment as required
  • Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations
  • Manage time efficiently and effectively
  • Communicate with clients and write detailed service reports

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A current electrician's licence
  • A valid driver's licence
  • A clean police record
  • A General Construction Induction (White Card)
  • Working at Heights certification
  • Excellent punctuality and teamwork skills
  • Good mechanical and electrical aptitude

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Trade certificate in Mechanical or maintenance fitting
  • Experience with automation equipment including PLCs
  • Previous experience in electrical maintenance, particularly in the CBD
