We are seeking an expert in infrastructure management to lead the development of asset strategies for our road network.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pavement and road design, with a strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle planning and investment strategy. They will be able to lead and influence across technical and business functions, with exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

This is a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and profitable operation of our roads throughout the concession life. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop long- and short-term asset strategies and lifecycle plans that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Asset Management Plans: Create upstream asset management plans and strategies for our road infrastructure assets.
  • Maintenance Planning: Lead whole-of-concession-life maintenance planning and investment forecasting.
  • Code of Practice Review: Review and update Codes of Maintenance Standards to ensure compliance and performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to align asset strategy with business outcomes.
  • Renewal Programs: Contribute to the development of renewal programs based on asset integrity and operational need.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance across the Asset Strategy function.
  • Risk Mitigation: Support risk mitigation planning through detailed asset condition analysis.
What You Need
  • Asset Management Expertise: Extensive experience in asset management and engineering, ideally in pavement and road design.
  • Lifecycle Planning: Strong understanding of infrastructure lifecycle planning and investment strategy.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and influence across technical and business functions.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strategic mindset with the ability to translate asset condition data into actionable plans.
  • Complex Environment Experience: Experience working within complex infrastructure environments and regulatory frameworks.
