Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Strategist to lead the development and implementation of our technology and infrastructure roadmap. This role involves driving cost optimisation for platforms and infrastructure, delivering technology and infrastructure projects, and maintaining current platforms and technologies to meet production Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud cost optimisation, commercial negotiations, contract management, and financial planning. Strong leadership and direction skills are also essential to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and high-quality delivery of projects.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement the technology and infrastructure roadmap to ensure optimal use of cloud services.
  • Drive cost optimisation for platforms and infrastructure through commercial negotiations and contract management.
  • Maintain current platforms and technologies to meet production SLAs.
  • Deliver technology and infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and to a high quality standard.
Requirements
  • Relevant IT-related degree or qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Certification in PRINCE 2 or other project management methodology is highly desirable.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Expertise in cloud cost optimisation, commercial negotiations, contract management, and financial planning.
  • Strong leadership and direction skills.
  • Able to maintain accountability for the performance, availability, and optimisation of operational infrastructure across data centres and cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with government, eHealth, and ETB strategies and policies.
