Import Managers play a pivotal role in the efficient importation of air freight at our Brisbane Airport station.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, with at least 5 years of experience in leadership roles. A degree in Management or a related field is required.

Key responsibilities include leading and managing daily operational activities, supporting country targets, managing customer relationships, and coordinating with carriers and internal stakeholders to optimize service delivery.

The successful candidate will have excellent leadership, team development, and stakeholder management skills, as well as strong communication, analytical, and commercial negotiation skills.

They should be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.

A certification in Customs, Dangerous Goods, and Air Cargo Security is essential for this position.

We are looking for someone who is proactive, results-driven, and has a passion for logistics.

As an Import Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve import processes, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth import operations.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of import regulations and compliance requirements, as well as the ability to communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
