Leading Digital Innovation for Global Impact

We are seeking an experienced Digital Innovation Leader to join our team and drive strategic digital initiatives that amplify our mission, enable scale, and ensure our programs are more responsive, inclusive, and sustainable.
This parental leave cover (12 month max term contract) role offers the chance to maintain momentum on critical technology programs while collaborating across multiple organisational units to deliver real impact.
As our Digital Innovation Leader, you will champion our Technology for Impact strategy, aligning digital innovation with programmatic goals and global development trends. You will steward ongoing digital transformation initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
You will oversee 3-5 digital initiatives across their complete lifecycle from design to sustainability planning, ensuring all digital products remain user-centred, trauma-informed, and contextually appropriate.
You will apply agile methodologies and human-centered design principles to create meaningful solutions, partnering with operational teams, program experts, and external stakeholders to co-design tech-enabled solutions.
You will work with technical subject matter experts to address key development challenges, maintaining comprehensive documentation to ensure seamless knowledge transfer.
Required Skills and Qualifications- 5+ years in digital product management, preferably in development, non-profit, or social impact contexts
- Expertise in agile/lean software development methodologies and human-centered design
- Knowledge of emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, and mobile innovations
- Understanding of cybersecurity, data protection regulations, and privacy best practices
- Strong grasp of international development context, challenges, and approaches
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration skills
- Meaningful Impact: Your work directly improves outcomes for vulnerable children worldwide
- Innovation Focus: Lead cutting-edge digital solutions in the development sector
- Collaborative Culture: Work with passionate professionals across diverse teams
