Job Description

As a Credit Risk Associate, you will focus on executing transactions across acquisition & leveraged finance, vanilla and structured loans, derivatives and liquidity and cash management products for a diversified portfolio of institutional and corporate clients.

Responsibilities include proactively managing exposures on client portfolios, preparing forward-looking credit memoranda with necessary financial modeling to provide risk assessment views on new transactions and existing clients, tracking market and industry developments and their impact on clients, recommending and monitoring internal credit ratings, and supporting senior team members with completing due diligence, structuring and documentation on new transactions.

Additionally, you will interact with key stakeholders including client coverage and product bankers, prepare and monitor various credit and regulatory reporting requirements, and support the team with ongoing ad-hoc initiatives and workstreams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Three years' experience gained in a credit risk or credit analysis role within institutional, investment banking, or corporate banking.
  • Effective credit risk analysis skills covering both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Ability to take an active role in identifying key issues/concerns relating to clients, their industries and transaction structures.
  • Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to foster relationships and confidently interact with business lines and other internal stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with an ability to navigate through complex financial models, as well as other Microsoft programs (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook etc).
