About the Opportunity

An exciting new permanent role has become available for a Corporate Credit Specialist within our team.

You will be responsible for analysing customer credit applications, contributing to their approval and supporting business goals in achieving risk targets.

  • Undertake financial analysis and modelling for clients across key sectors such as Agriculture, Construction, Transport and Industrial.
  • Liaise with all relevant departments, sales, credit management, legal and asset management, together with third parties.
  • Collect customer information using applicable systems and assess completeness and topicality of data.
  • Analyse risk (financial, asset, market, security, legal and contractual), review and re-rate customers, and decide on credit applications within given authority levels.
  • Write reports, make sound recommendations and present applications to higher decision-making authorities including local and global Credit Committees.
  • Monitor and advise on credit/risk profiles, policies, regulations and sales mandates in co-operation with involved departments.
  • Contribute to the development of credit and risk management policies, guidelines.
Key Requirements

A degree in accounting, finance or related field is required. Must have 3 years of experience in asset finance with a minimum DLA of AUD500K.

Advanced financial skills are essential. Understanding of vendor-based partnerships, strategic commercial objectives and risk principles, is also necessary.

Strong ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders, excellent comprehension, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to organise work to assist the team in meeting objectives.

Ability to manage tasks, flexibility, and handle high work volumes and respond to requests timely.

A consultative approach to working with stakeholders, team player, problem solver with an adaptive approach, and lifelong learner who can self-motivate and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
