We are seeking a seasoned Operations Director to spearhead the Australian operations. This pivotal role will drive financial performance, strategic growth, and operational excellence across multiple hotels, with a focus on delivering revenue, guest satisfaction, and brand impact.
Responsibilities- Provide visionary leadership across rooms and events, ensuring efficiency, cost management, and alignment with business goals.
- Develop and execute commercial, sales, and revenue strategies, adapting swiftly to changing market conditions.
- Oversee day-to-day operations across the AU portfolio with a visible, hands-on approach.
- Ensure hotels consistently achieve high standards in guest experience, employee engagement, and financial performance.
- Lead, motivate, and coach cross-functional teams to deliver results and cultivate a high-performing culture.
- Partner with hotel GMs, Sales & Marketing, and Shared Services to optimise performance, strengthen operations, and grow market share.
- Review financial reports, monitor KPIs, and identify opportunities to optimise revenue, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Champion brand vision, innovation, and service excellence while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing and aligning on strategic priorities.
- Promote open communication, employee feedback, and performance development across all teams.
- Proven track record as a Regional/Area Manager overseeing multiple hotels.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen with the ability to drive revenue growth and optimise operations.
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Skilled at leading, motivating, and developing high-performance teams.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to navigate challenges with creative, commercial solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related discipline; 5-10 years of relevant experience.
