We are seeking a highly skilled Constitutional Lawyer to join our team at the State Government Of Victoria, Australia. As a Constitutional Lawyer, you will play a critical role in providing legal services to the government on constitutional and other public law matters.
Key Responsibilities- Provide written and oral advice on public law, including constitutional law
- Conduct administrative and public law litigation matters
- Develop and maintain expertise in constitutional and public law
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide high-quality legal services to government clients
- Stay up-to-date with changes in constitutional and public law
- Proven ability to provide written and oral advice on public law (preferably including constitutional law)
- Experience conducting administrative and public law litigation matters
- Excellent legal research and analytical skills
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to both work in a team and autonomously (under supervision)
- Enthusiasm for working in a government law office and on novel legal issues
- An inclusive, collegiate and collaborative work environment
