Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Legal Advisor. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future by providing expert advice on technology and digital projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified lawyer with experience in technology contracting to bring innovative solutions to emerging technologies and collaborate with stakeholders across various functions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in law and technology, with experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with government and private sector clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert legal advice on technology and digital projects, including procurement, licensing, and data use.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of governance frameworks, risk assessments, and policies and procedures.
  • Collaborating with client project teams and internal stakeholders across various functions.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with government and private sector clients.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5–8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in technology, intellectual property, privacy, data, and/or government contracting.
  • Experience working in a law firm and/or in-house environment, with exposure to technology-related legal matters.
  • A commercial and pragmatic approach, with effective stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong drafting and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Comfortable advising on emerging issues such as artificial intelligence, digital innovation, and new technologies.
