Job Title: Student Learning Partners

 

Job Description:

We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our team as Student Learning Partners.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about supporting students with additional needs and providing them with a rich and rewarding educational experience.

This is a part-time position, and hours may be negotiated to suit the successful applicant's availability.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with educators to meet the individual needs of students in small groups or one-on-one settings.
  • To provide encouragement and praise to students, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • To assist students with their learning activities, reinforcing positive behaviors and practices.
  • To supervise outside playground activities when necessary and support students on excursions.
  • To maintain confidentiality and respect for all students, families, and colleagues.
  • To contribute to PSG meetings and attend Professional Development opportunities relevant to the role.

 

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
