Job Description

The role of a Learning Experience Designer at a higher education institution involves supporting senior colleagues in the collaborative design and development of courses for blended and online learning delivery.

You will be part of an innovative team designing high-quality learning experiences for students, working collaboratively with subject matter experts and other stakeholders to achieve academic goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the design and development of courses for delivery in various modes including blended and online.
  • Contributing to strategic projects in curriculum refresh and course modernisation.
Requirements:
  • Highly self-motivated, knowledgeable about the art and practice of learning design and have a strong attention to detail.
  • Curious, collaborative, and occasionally experimental but keen to base your work on evidence and best practices.
About You:

As a Learning Experience Designer, you will be expected to scale up your work across the institution and directly improve the learning experience of many students. You will be a key part of important initiatives such as the institution's course modernisation program and assessment reform.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in learning design, collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds, and contribute to the achievement of academic goals.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, have excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
