The Painter role involves assisting with painting, wallpapering, and maintenance in the hotel. The job requires performing various tasks such as painting, plastering, minor carpentry, plumbing, and equipment repairs. Additionally, it involves instructing other engineering staff in correct methods of surface preparation and paint application.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diverse tasks related to painting, plastering, and maintenance
  • Train colleagues on correct methods of surface preparation and paint application
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety guidelines, hotel policies, and emergency procedures
  • Assist and train team members, share information, and maintain a positive working atmosphere

The ideal candidate will possess formal qualifications in Painting, Decorating, and/or Plastering, as well as physical fitness to perform tasks that require standing for long periods, bending, and lifting objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). A valid driver's license is also required.
