About the Role
HYPAR Group seeks a Support Worker/Mentor to provide tailored supports in a supportive and caring environment. This role involves building relationships based on HYPAR's core values.

The ideal candidate will have:
Exceptional emotional intelligence, demonstrating initiative and flexibility
Ability to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
Strong professional boundaries
Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
The drive to do meaningful work that improves the lives of participants
Ability to work a flexible roster, available across morning, evening and weekend shifts.

Key responsibilities include providing mental health support work within a therapeutic framework, delivering quality care and case management.
Assisting participants with daily living tasks such as house cleaning, laundry, cooking meals, budgeting, shopping etc.

Job requirements include:
A current 10-year traffic history report
Paid Blue Card
Paid NDIS Disability Worker Screening (or valid yellow card)
Child Safety background screening check (LCS2)
Have access to a registered vehicle and full comprehensive insurance
Open QLD Drivers Licence (International and P-Plate Licences will not be accepted)
Working android or apple smartphone
