About the Opportunity:

Are you a skilled project leader with experience in government project management? Do you have a passion for healthcare and social sciences? We are seeking an experienced Implementation Manager to lead our Community Pharmacist Program.

This role will involve overseeing the design and delivery of the program, which aims to support people in accessing timely healthcare for select, low-risk conditions through their pharmacist. You will be responsible for managing a small team and working closely with cross-department stakeholders to achieve departmental objectives.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail. They will also have a deep understanding of health and social sciences, as well as experience in preparing high-quality reports and providing authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full life cycle of projects to meet departmental objectives
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports on complex matters
  • Identify emerging issues, risks, and trends impacting on key business objectives and imperatives

Required Qualifications:

An appropriate tertiary qualification or commensurate experience in health, social sciences, or relevant public policy area is required. Strong government project management experience is also essential.
