Job Description

We are seeking a professional to fill the role of Quality System & OHS Compliance Officer. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring our company maintains compliance with relevant quality and occupational health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Implementation of the ISO 9001 Quality System, including internal audits and reports, external audit preparation, maintaining quality system registers, and chairing quarterly quality management meetings.
  • Implementation of the OHS System, including maintaining records, reviewing company OHS policy and procedures, monitoring employee SWMS & checklists, OHS training, and compliance checks with legislation.
  • Assisting company management with safety and policy compliance requests for external tender applications.
  • Maintaining staff induction registers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Proven experience in quality systems management (ISO 9001)
  • Sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) compliance and relevant legislation
  • Effective communication skills (internal team, external clients)
