About the Role

As a trusted legal advisor, you will work within the Commonwealth to provide expert guidance on constitutional and public law, statutory interpretation, and the development, implementation, and administration of legislation.

This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced Lawyers to join the Office of General Counsel and contribute to the delivery of high-quality legal services to the Australian Government.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide expert legal advice and assistance to clients in specialist areas, including constitutional law, public law, and statutory interpretation.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities with clients.

The successful candidate will have substantial experience in areas of relevance, a thorough knowledge of the Commonwealth legal environment, and a strong understanding of constitutional law, public law, and statutory interpretation.
