Construction Project Manager Job Description

As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects from concept through completion. This involves working closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client requirements.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials and coordination of subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards to minimize risks and liabilities.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Monitor project progress and implement adjustments as needed to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager (minimum 2-4 years) with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
