Highway Design Leader

As a Highway Design Leader, you will be part of a civil infrastructure business unit and contribute to major highway projects involving high-speed motorways and urban arterials.

The projects may involve several design stages, including concept design and detailed design.

You will lead a highway design project team, including coaching and development of capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery of the Road Design component of projects within agreed deadlines.
  • Identify and resolve technical road design issues.
  • Assist in determining resources required for a project plan.
  • Maintain accurate, clear, and concise project documents.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders effectively.

Requirements:

  • Passion for delivering impact.
  • Contribution to improving work processes and innovation.
  • Relevant qualifications include Civil Engineering degree or qualification.
  • Proficiency in 12D software.
  • Experience in major road infrastructure projects, particularly highways design.
  • Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design is essential.
