Senior Highway Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Highway Planning Specialist to join our civil infrastructure team and be part of major transportation projects.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning, resource allocation, and delivery of highway design components within agreed timelines and budgets.

  • Manage project timelines and resources to deliver high-quality highway design solutions.
  • Lead a highway design project team, including coaching and development of capabilities.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Project Managers/Team Leaders and clients to ensure effective communications on matters relevant to the project.

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A suitable degree or qualification relevant to Civil Engineering.
  • Proficiency in 12D and Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoads software.
  • Extensive experience in a project delivery environment with demonstrated participation in the delivery of major highway infrastructure projects, particularly highway design.
  • Knowledge of Austroads Guide to Road Design and local authority CAD standards.
