About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Geotechnical Engineer to support our instrumentation and monitoring programs. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing the installation of geotechnical instruments in the field, performing regular data collection, validation, and analysis, interpreting monitoring results to assess ground and structural behaviour, generating reports, and providing geotechnical input to project teams.

Main Responsibilities
  • Plan and oversee the installation of geotechnical instruments in the field, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data from geotechnical instrumentation systems.
  • Interpret monitoring results to assess ground and structural behavior, identifying areas for improvement and potential risks.
  • Generate reports and provide geotechnical input to project teams, facilitating informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with design, construction, and operations teams to ensure effective communication and project success.
Requirements
  • A degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in geotechnical engineering and instrumentation and monitoring systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify solutions.
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to present information effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
