Geotechnical Engineers play a crucial role in guiding project direction through detailed ground investigations, analysis, and design for infrastructure and building projects. As a specialist in this field, you will be responsible for extracting maximum value from the ground up.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team of experts who deliver world-leading geotechnical consulting services. You will be working closely with engineers, project teams, and clients to deliver high-quality, fit-for-purpose geotechnical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage site investigations, laboratory testing, and associated health and safety requirements
  • Conduct geotechnical analysis and design (e.g. foundations, retention systems, earthworks, seismic assessments) for buildings and infrastructure projects
  • Interpret ground conditions and prepare technical reports and geotechnical documentation
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering (preferably with or working towards a Master's in Geotechnical Engineering) and eligibility for chartership
  • 3-4 years experience in geotechnical design and construction, with sound knowledge of the Sydney ground conditions
  • Proven ability to deliver geotechnical solutions using industry-standard software and engineering judgement
  • Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement skills
