We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team and provide expert technical advice on geotechnical design and construction phase support services. As a Senior/Associate Geotechnical Engineer, you will work closely with construction contractors and developers to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of clients.


About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in geotechnical engineering, including experience in conducting site investigations, developing geotechnical designs, and managing project risks. You will be responsible for providing technical expertise to support the delivery of infrastructure and development projects across various states in Australia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver High-Quality Geotechnical Services: Provide expert technical advice on geotechnical design and construction phase support services to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Manage Project Risks: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with geotechnical investigations and construction phase support services.
  • Develop Strong Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Pursue Business Development Opportunities: Proactively identify and pursue business opportunities to drive growth and revenue.
  • Prepare Technical Reports: Develop and deliver high-quality technical reports and documentation to support project delivery.
  • Provide Leadership: Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in geotechnical engineering, ideally 2 years or above.
  • Strong report writing and technical skills.
  • Excellent project management and client engagement skills.
  • Ability to conduct site investigations in remote areas and hold a valid unrestricted driver's license for use in Australia.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and adherence to relevant systems and procedures.
