About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled lawyer to join our legal team as a Senior Legal Counsel. This is an exciting opportunity for a trusted legal advisor to provide high-quality legal advice and play a key role in our property sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice on capital transactions, market processes, development activities, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop and structure complex transactions.
  • Educate project teams and business stakeholders on legal aspects of our activities.
  • Manage external lawyers and probity advisors.
  • Assist in training and mentoring lawyers and paralegals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in law and admission in New South Wales.
  • Substantial experience in property and/or construction law, including drafting and negotiating complex property and project documentation.
  • High-level written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with key stakeholders.
  • Exposure to construction, planning, tax, and litigation within the property development context.
